A great gift for the Vintage Gentleman! Beautiful Mid-Century Modern Mad Men Era Cufflinks and Tie Tack / Tie Pin set in original purple presentation box circa 1960s by SWANK. The Cufflinks are set with large round faceted glass stones in goldhish-brown. This large, flashy cufflink set features Modernist gold tone metal settings. The set includes two "wrap-a-round" cufflinks, that is they have a band of metal mesh that wraps around the side of the cuff. The cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. The tie pin has a smaller round stone on a gold setting matching the cufflinks and has a gold tone clutch backing to secure it to the tie as well as small gold chain with a "T" shaped piece goes through your shirt buttonhole, attaching the tie to your shirt. The pieces are all marked marked SWANK and are quite well made!
