A great gift for the theater lover! Nice Mid-Century Modern Mad Men Era Cufflinks set featuring Comedy & Tragedy Masks. A nice set in silver tone metal with gold washed masks and black painted background and highlights. The cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. The cufflinks measure just over 3/4" in diameter. Each piece is impressed on reverse with the word "SWANK".

Formed in 1936, Swank Products, Inc. made accessories for men and began manufacturing gun parts during WWII as well as award items like purple hearts and bronze stars. After the war Swank expanded into other areas, including fragrances, wallets, belts and other accessories for men.
