A great gift for the Vintage Gentleman! Nice Mid Century Modern Mad Men Era Cufflinks set circa 1950s signed by SWANK. An aesome vintage round gold tone metal cufflink set featuring raised horse heads with Mother-of-Pearl manes. The set includes two cufflinks with squared bullet back closures. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. The cufflinks measure a large 7/8" in diameter. Both pieces are marked "SWANK" on the backs and the posts.
Formed in 1936, Swank Products, Inc. made gun parts during WWII as well as award items like purple hearts and bronze stars. After the war Swank expanded into other areas, including fragrances, wallets, belts and other accessories for men.
