Awesome Mid Century Modern Cufflinks with AQUARIUS Zodiac Water-bearer designs! A gorgeous Late 1960s cufflink set signed by DANTE. Dante manufactured primarily high quality men's jewelry and accessories in the 1960s (a division of Shields Inc). Each of these large, flashy cufflinks feature large round etched gold tone metal faces on a "wrap-a-round" setting, that is they have a band of metal mesh that wraps around the side of the cuff. The cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. The cufflinks are a large size, the faces measure 7/8" in diameter. The cufflinks are quite well made and both are marked "DANTE". A fun men's accessory set in excellent unused or barely used condition!
