A great gift for the Vintage Gentleman! Beautiful 1960s Vintage Mid-Century Modern Mad Men Era Silver Tone Modernist Cufflinks set by Judy Lee. This large, flashy cufflink set features rectangular faces with antiqued texture, cut out square designs and inset pearls. These Modernist silver tone metal cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt.
The cufflinks are marked "Judy-Lee" and "PAT. PEND." Judy Lee Jewelry was founded by Blanche and Aldo Viano in Chicago in 1949. The company employed marketing and distribution methods similar to Emmons and Sarah Coventry. The jewelry is not very common in the market today. Much of Judy Lee jewelry is marked "Judy-Lee" (a mark that has been in use since 1958).
These cufflinks are quite heavy and well made in excellent unused or barely used condition!
The cufflinks are a large size, measuring just 1" wide by 1/2" tall across the faces. Our vintage mens cufflink sets include a handmade paper gift box with cotton lining and make a great gift for the vintage gentleman!
