A fun set! 1960s Vintage Mad Men Era Gold Tone Metal Cufflinks and Tie Pin or Tie Tack with Shriner emblem with sword, moon, star and Pharaoh head. The cufflinks have bullet back closures and measure a full inch across and the tie pin is 1/4" wide. The cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. The tie pin has a gold tone clutch backing to secure it to the tie as well as small gold chain with a "T" shaped piece goes through your shirt buttonhole, attaching the tie to your shirt. The pieces are all marked "HICKOK" and "U.S.A". The set is in its original satin lined presentation box which has gold "Hickok" logo printed inside lid.
Hickok Manufacturing Company Inc. of Rochester New York was founded in the early 1900s and was a major manufacturer of men's jewelry and accessories.
