$ 19.99

Mid-Century Modern Mad Men Era Cufflinks and Tie Clip set made by SWANK circa 1960s featuring Gold & Brushed Steel Tone crossed Bowling Pins and Bowling Ball. An awesome vintage set! The cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. The tie clip has a strong clasp on back to secure tie to shirt. The pieces are marked "SWANK".

Formed in 1936, Swank Products, Inc. made gun parts during WWII as well as award items like purple hearts and bronze stars. After the war Swank expanded into other areas, including fragrances, wallets, belts and other accessories for men. In the 1950s and 60s, Swank, Inc. began acquiring other brands in order to continue expanding and today a number of recognizable brand names are owned by Swank, Inc., they include Guess?, Liz Claiborne, Geoffrey Beene, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Nautica and Chaps.

This great early men's accessory set by Swank is in good used condition with some light wear mainly to the tie clip. The Cufflinks measure 13/16" square and the tie clip is 1-5/8" wide, perfect for Mad Men era skinny neckties!

Our cufflink sets include a paper gift box with cotton lining and make a great gift for your favorite vintage gentleman!
