A great gift for the Vintage Gentleman! Fun Vintage Gold Tone Fishing Rod & Reel Shaped Tie Bar by Anson. The tie bar was made circa 1960s-1970s and measures 1-7/8" in length. A neat novelty Tie Bar! The clasp has a strong metal clip with spring and teeth on back which securely holds the necktie to your shirt. This great men's tie bar is perfect for the hunter or sportsman. The piece is marked "Anson" on back in cursive script.

Anson founded as the Anderson Tool & Die Company in 1938 by Olof Anderson who was a Swedish immigrant to America making items for jewelry manufacturers. During WWII the machinery was adapted to milling machines and entered into war production work. In 1945 Anderson formed Anson Incorporated and began men's jewelry production. In the early 1960s "Anson" began using script instead of block letters for their logo.
