A great gift for the Vintage Gent! Nice 1960s Mad Men Era Men's Tie Tack / Tie Pin with gold Masonic Symbol with Square, Compass and Letter "G" on a black enamel background. A fun vintage piece made by SWANK!

Formed in 1936, Swank Products, Inc. made gun parts during WWII as well as award items like purple hearts and bronze stars. After the war Swank expanded into other areas, including fragrances, wallets, belts and other accessories for men. In the 1950′s and 60′s, Swank, Inc. began acquiring other brands in order to continue expanding and today a number of recognizable brand names are owned by Swank, Inc., they include Guess?, Liz Claiborne, Geoffrey Beene, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Nautica and Chaps.

The tie tack has a gold tone clutch backing to secure it to the tie as well as small gold chain with a "T" shaped piece that goes through your shirt buttonhole, securing the tie to your dress shirt. The piece is marked SWANK on reverse and is quite well made. A nice vintage mens tie pin in nice condition! The face of the pin measures approximately 3/8" across! A fun piece for the vintage gentleman! We will include with purchase a paper gift box with padded lining making this a great gift!
