A great gift for the Vintage Gentleman! Nice Pair of 1960s SWANK Gold Tone Metal Cufflinks with mother of pearl inserts. Not sure if these are actual mother of pearl or a synthetic like celluloid. Either way, these are a super fun Mid Century Pair of vintage men's cufflinks by SWANK. The cufflinks measure just over 3/4" square. The cufflinks have bullet back closures with a capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. Both cufflinks are marked "SWANK" on reverse and on the posts.
Formed in 1936, Swank Products, Inc. made gun parts during WWII as well as award items like purple hearts and bronze stars.
