A great gift for the Vintage Gentleman! Beautiful Large Mid-Century Modern Mad Men Era Wrap-a-round Cufflinks set circa 1960s by SWANK in original velvet presentation box from BRENT Clothiers.

Formed in 1936, Swank Products, Inc. made gun parts during WWII as well as award items like purple hearts and bronze stars. After the war Swank expanded into other areas, including fragrances, wallets, belts and other accessories for men. In the 1950s and 60s, Swank, Inc. began acquiring other brands in order to continue expanding and today a number of recognizable brand names are owned by Swank, Inc., they include Guess?, Liz Claiborne, Geoffrey Beene, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Nautica and Chaps.

This large 1960s vintage cufflink set by Swank features two large Oval Cameos with female nude design on silver tone metal settings. These are wrap-a-round or "Wrap Link" cufflinks, that is they have a band of metal mesh that wraps around the side of the cuff. The cufflinks have bullet back closures; a torpedo, or bullet shaped, capsule that is suspended between two posts. The bullet can be flipped on its axis to manipulate it through the button holes in the cuff, and then flipped to secure the cufflink on the shirt. A great vintage men's accessory set in excellent unused or barely used condition! The cufflinks are a large size, measuring about 1" across the face. A beautiful set for the vintage gentleman! Each cufflink is marked with the "S" in Shield logo that was used by Swank.
